Schools to be opened in Kathmandu Valley from September 17

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 6 – All the schools in the Kathmandu Valley will be open from September 17.

A meeting of the three chief district officers of the Kathmandu Valley and officials of the local level education committee on Monday decided to reopen the school from September 17.

It has been decided to open the school to every local level from September 17 by following the health standards, ‘said Adhikari to Kantipur. He said that the meeting could decide to open a school at the concerned local level considering the risk of health conditions.

Kathmandu Chief District Officer Kali Prasad Parajuli said that the municipalities must follow the health standards set by the government while operating the schools.
