NEPSE rose by 83 points in the second hour of trading

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 6 – The stock market (NEPSE index) has risen by 83.03 points in the first two hours of trading on Monday, the second trading day of the week.

The market has started rising on Saturday in the same way as it had declined on Sunday, the first day of the week. The market had risen by 147 points (5.03 per cent) in the first two hours on Sunday and was suspended for 40 minutes due to a circuit breaker.

The overall index had declined by 108 points on Sunday. The stock market rose by 45 points in the first 15 minutes of trading on Saturday.

On Saturday, the NEPSE index rose by 2.95 points in two hours to 29,014.88 points.

Of the 216 companies traded during the period, 7,199,942 lots were bought and sold at a turnover of Rs 3 billion 890 million 19 million 5 thousand 2 hundred 2 rupees.

According to the stock, shares of all the 13 subgroups have increased.

The stock market has taken a U-turn on Saturday after the Finance Ministry made public the news that Finance Minister Janardan Sharma had telephoned and instructed the NRB to be flexible, especially on share mortgage loans.
