Applications are open for the 47th convocation of Tribhuvan University
KATHMANDU: SEPT. 6 – Tribhuvan University has opened applications to participate in the 47th Convocation. The TU Examination Control Office, Balkhu, has issued a notice saying that the online application should be submitted by October 6.
Under the semester and annual examination system for a period of one year from 15 June 2020 to 14 June 2021, undergraduate, postgraduate and M.A. Students who pass the Phil level and get a transcript from the Examination Control Office will be able to participate in the graduation ceremony. Also, students who have completed PhD in the same period will be able to participate in the 47th convocation ceremony, according to the office.
Fees and deposits must be paid together
Graduation and certificate fee for undergraduate level is 2,200 and deposit is 1,500 for a total of 3,700, fee for postgraduate and M.Phil level is 2,700 and bail is 4,200 and PhD. The fee has been fixed at Rs 3,200 and Rs 4,700 as bail.
This time, only one parent can participate in the graduation ceremony and an additional 300 fee has to be paid for it. It is stated in the notice that all levels will be charged Rs 1500 as a deposit and a maintenance fee of 300 gowns, scarves etc. will be deducted from the deposit. The certificate has to be obtained within a year of the graduation ceremony, otherwise, an additional fine will be levied.
Earlier, the 59th grace list with the details of the students who will be able to participate in the graduation ceremony has been passed on the occasion of the annual festival of Tribhuvan University, in which it has been decided that 29,729 students will be able to participate in the graduation ceremony.
