Heavy rains in these areas, urging to remain vigilant

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 6 – It is raining all over the country in States 1, 2, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini States. According to the Meteorological Department, the low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal is causing the rains.

There is a possibility of rain in many places across the country in the afternoon. There is a possibility of thunder, lightning and heavy rain in a few places of State 1, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini States.

There is a possibility of rain in many places across the country at night. There is a possibility of thunder and lightning in Gandaki, Karnali and a few places of the Far Western States and State 1, Bagmati and Lumbini States.

The department has urged to be vigilant as the water level in rivers and streams may rise due to the risk of landslides Gregan in hilly areas due to the possibility of heavy rains.
