Rest to Anjan, Nawayug and Suman, Sujal, Aashish and Manish in the starting 11

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 5 – Nepal has been declared the starting XI for the second friendly match against India. Head coach Abdullah Al Mutairi has announced the starting XI under the captaincy of Kiran Chemjong.

Coach Almutairi has made three changes in today’s game. He has placed Suman Aryal, Nawayug Shrestha and Anjan Bista on the bench and given a chance to Sujal Shrestha, Aashish Lama and Manish Dangi in the starting XI. Anjan is also the goal scorer of the previous game.

The game will start at 5:30 pm on Sunday at Dasharath Stadium. Last Thursday, the first friendly match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Defenders – Dinesh Rajbanshi, Ananta Tamang, Gautam Shrestha, Sujal Shrestha

Midfielders – Pujan Uparkoti, Tej Tamang, Suman Lama

Forwards – Manish Dangi, Ayush Ghalan, Aashish Lama

India has also changed seven players and made the starting XI public.
