Memorandum of Understanding between Federation of Gold and Silver Merchants and NLG Insurance
KATHMANDU: SEPT. 5 – A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Entrepreneurs and NLG Insurance on Sunday. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the two organizations on how to operate insurance in a simple and easy manner.
President of the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Entrepreneurs Manikaratna Shakya and Chief Executive Officer of NLG Insurance Sunil Ballabh Panta signed the MoU.
According to FNCCI President Manikaratna Shakya, with this understanding, gold and silver traders across the country will now be able to take business benefits by insuring with NLG Insurance Company easily and simply. He said that all the districts, towns and associate members across the country can avail of this facility from any branch of the company.
Speaking on the occasion, Sunil Ballabh Pant, Chief Executive Officer of NLG Insurance, said that the agreement reached between the two organizations would benefit the entrepreneurs affiliated with the Federation of Gold and Silver Entrepreneurs.
In this context, General Secretary of the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Entrepreneurs Dharmasundar Bajracharya informed about the understanding reached between the two organizations and the benefits that the entrepreneurs can reap from it.
FNCCI spokesperson Manoj Shah said that the federation has entered into an agreement with NLG Insurance Company for the benefit of the entrepreneurs.
The gold and silver business is a very sensitive business in itself. Therefore, it is believed that this agreement will bring significant benefits to the entrepreneurs involved in this business.
