State 2: Two more MPs added in favor of Unified Socialists
JANAKPURDHAM: SEPT. 5 – Two CPN-UML lawmakers have chosen Madhav Nepal-led CPN-Unified Socialist Party.
UML MPs Sundar Bishwokarma and Sita Gurung, who are also whips, identified themselves in favor of the CPN-Unified Socialists on Sunday. At the same time, 13 MPs have reached State 2 in favor of the Unified Socialist Party.
Both the lawmakers reached the Janakpur-based state election office on Sunday and identified themselves in favor of the Unified Socialists. He was taken to the election office by MP Shatrudhan Mahato.
Although they had earlier joined the Madhav Nepal faction when the UML was united, 11 lawmakers were identifying themselves in favor of the Unified Socialist Party in Janakpur on Thursday.
In State 2, the UML had 21 MPs. Eleven of them have already identified themselves in favor of the Unified Socialists on Thursday. Now there are only 8 UML MPs left in State 2.
