Responsibility sharing in Unified Socialists, to whom?
KATHMANDU: SEPT. 5 – The Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Socialist) has assigned other responsibilities including the state in-charge. A meeting of the standing committee chaired by Madhav Kumar Nepal, chairman and leader of the parliamentary party, has given responsibilities to the leaders of various committees of the party including the state in-charge.
Leader Metmani Chaudhary said that the responsibilities have been divided from the National Conference to the Central Committee. As mentioned in the Inter-Party Directive of the Unified Socialists, the former chairman of the CPN (Maoist) Standing Committee, including party chairman Nepal and senior leader Jhala Nath Khanal, has been included in the standing committee by the Unified Socialists. According to him, Mukunda Neupane, Dr Beduram Bhusal and Pramesh Hamal.
Similarly, a secretariat comprising of Pramesh Hamal, Rajendra Pandey, Dr. Gangalal Tuladhar, Dr Bijay Poudel, Jayanti Rai and Jeevan Ram Shrestha has been formed under the coordination of Bhusal to carry out the daily work of the party. Similarly, Tuladhar has been given the responsibility of Central Office Secretary.
Similarly, Ghanendra Basnet has been selected in charge of State 1, Dharmanath Sah in charge of State 2 and Kedar Neupane in charge of Bagmati State. Similarly, Keshav Lal Shrestha is in charge of Gandaki, Bhagwat Bishwasi is in charge of Lumbini and Prakash Jwala is in charge of Karnali. Far-western state in-charge has not been appointed.
Upatyaka special state in-charge Bishwanath Pyakurel, liaison special state in-charge Bijay Gurung and front in-charge Dr Bijay Poudel. When Dr Bijay Poudel got the responsibility of the head of the publicity department, Sri Prasad Shah has been given the responsibility of the migration area.
Similarly, Rajendra Pandey, Bijay Poudel and Ram Kumari Jhankri have been given the responsibility of working on the court and the Election Commission. Khatiwada, Kalyani Khadka, Jeevan Ram Shrestha and Thagendra Puri have been assigned the responsibility of parliamentary work.
A 13-member committee has been formed under the coordination of Jhala Nath Khanal to draft the political report and other documents to be presented at the party’s national conference.
