Manakamana Cable Car came into operation

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 5 – The Manakamana cable car, which was closed due to the increase in coronavirus transmission, will be operational from today. The cable car was closed on April 29 along with the prohibitory order.

According to Manakamana Chairman Rajubabu Shrestha, the cable car is being operated by adopting health safety standards. He said, “Passengers should also abide by the safety standards.”

He said that more than 9,000 passengers travel by cable car in a single day during the festival, which is crowded with devotees. Shrestha informed that discussions are underway to operate the Manakamana temple.
