The possibility of heavy rains in these areas, urged to remain vigilant

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 5 – Currently, there is light to moderate rain in some parts of State 1, 2, Bagmati and Gandaki States and one or two places in the rest of the country.

According to the Department of Water and Meteorology, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in some places across the country this afternoon.

According to the department, there is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder and lightning in one or two places of State 1, Bagmati and Gandaki.

The department has urged to be vigilant as the water level in rivers and streams may rise and the risk of landslides in hilly areas due to the possibility of heavy rains.
