Palesha lost the first game in Paralympics

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 3 – Nepal’s Taekwondo player Palesha Govardhan has lost in the first match of the Tokyo Paralympics. She competed in the women’s under 58 kg weight category under the K44 category and lost the first match.

Palesha lost to Beth Munro of Great Britain in the Round of 16 matches on Friday. She lost to Munro 21-8.

Palesha will now compete in the repechage round for the bronze medal. A six-member team including one player from Nepal is in Japan for the Tokyo Paralympics.
