DHANGADHI: SEPT. 2 – A young man has been arrested for cheating by promising to form the police force. Manoj Kumar Singh, 25, of Masta Rural Municipality-2 of Bajhang has been arrested from Dhangadhi Crossroads by the Far Western State Police Office and a police team deployed from the district.

The arrested Singh has been made public by the District Police Office, Kailali at a press conference on Thursday.

According to the Chief Superintendent of Police (SP) at the District Police Office, Kailali, Singh had swindled Rs 60,000 from the victim saying that he would form a police force after the completion of the entire examination for the post of a police constable.

According to him, Singh had threatened to fail the police if he did not pay. According to the Superintendent of Police, a case has been registered against Singh for fraud.
