Kathmandu cinema hall to be open by tomorrow

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 1 – The cinema hall, which has been closed for a long time, will be reopened.

A meeting of the Chief District Officers (CDOs) of all the three districts of the Kathmandu Valley (Kathmandu-Bhaktapur-Lalitpur) on Wednesday decided to open cinema halls in the Kathmandu Valley.

Chief District Officer of the District Administration Office, Kathmandu, Kali Prasad Parajuli informed that the decision has been taken to ease the lockdown.

Parajuli said that various activities can be carried out by following the health standards.

We have issued an order removing the word ‘prohibition’. We went to the modality of being able to conduct activities by following the health standards, ‘he said.
