NEPSE increased by a small number, turnover above Rs 9 billion

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 1 – The stock market index (NEPSE) rose by 1.18 points on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.

By the end of the day, the NEPSE index had risen 0.04 per cent to 2,977.02 points. The Sensitive Index rose 0.16 points to 550.69.

Of the 13 subgroups traded on the day, the indices of four subgroups have increased while the rest have declined.

Similarly, 1,71,82,871 shares of 226 companies worth Rs 9,351,799,654 have been bought and sold.

The share price of Ru Ru Hydropower Project Limited has risen by 7.5 per cent on this day.
