Kaski Congress to hold ward convention on September 3
POKHARA: SEPT. 1 – The Nepali Congress is currently on the verge of its 14th general convention. The Central Committee has fixed the date of the convention from the ward to the center.
But in some districts, it is doubtful that the convention will be held on time. Kaski, on the other hand, has decided to end the ward convention on the 18th. A meeting of NC Kaski office bearers and election commission has decided to end the convention on the pre-determined date.
Ram Chandra Poudel (Bimal) has been appointed as the Returning Officer for the election. He has already arrived in Pokhara on Tuesday. Kaski president Krishna KC informed that polling officers and election materials would reach all the wards by Thursday evening (Sept. 2). 2,019 regional representatives will be elected from 72 wards of Kaski.
