12 MPs leaves UML in Bagmati
KATHMANDU: AUGUST 31 – Twelve members of the Bagmati State Assembly have left the UML and joined the CPN (Unified Socialist).
Twelve members of the State Assembly, including Social Development Minister Krishna Khanal, identified themselves at the election office on Tuesday.
Members of the State Assembly Rajendra Pandey, Munu Sigdel, Laxman Lamsal, Rama Ale Magar, Madhav Poudel, Basundhara Humagain, Basanta Manandhar, Parbati Silwal, Kusum Karki, Indramaya Gurung and Rajendra Man Shrestha are among those present at the State Election Office, Hetauda.
The 92-member Bagmati State Assembly has 51 MPs from UML, 21 from Nepali Congress, 15 from UCPN-M, three from People’s Socialist Party, one each from Federal Democratic National Forum and Rastriya Prajatantra Party
