School opens in Gokarneshwor [Photos]

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 31 – The Gokarneshwor Municipality of Kathmandu has physically operated all the community and institutional schools in its area.

As per the decision of the discussion held with the stakeholders on August 27 and the meeting held on August 29, all the community and institutional schools in the municipality have been physically operated from today (Tuesday).

The municipality had instructed to reopen the school by publishing a notice on August 29.

But most of the institutional schools are not open. Some schools, on the other hand, have met the health criteria and physically conducted classes for students of class 8‚ 9‚ 10‚ 11‚ 12 without formal school uniforms.

Some have even run small classes with shifts. Community schools are not open due to vaccination centres.
