In the 5th year of Vatsalya, these services are free!
KATHMANDU: AUGUST 31 – Vatsalya has entered its 5th year. On this occasion, free outpatient service (OPD) and ultrasound have been arranged for the couples coming for fertility tests till mid-Bhadra.
Vatsalya believes that this free scheme will help couples who have been trying to have children for a long time but have not been successful, to understand modern fertility services and explore the possibility of having children.
So far, about 3,000 couples in Vatsalya have successfully had children through IVF, IUI and other treatments. The clinic, which has an average success rate of 60-70 per cent, had the highest IVF success rate of 71 per cent last July. This is well above the global standard (30-40 per cent).
Although the chances of having a child through IVF are high, people are unaware of the possibility of modern pregnancies due to the lack of open talk about reproductive health in our society. For that, Vatsalya has been continuously posting informative content through various social networks.
Facebook Live has been used to ask questions directly to the doctor. It has also been continuing to spread awareness through YouTube videos, TikTok, etc.
