Barcelona’s unbeaten run continues

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 30 – Barcelona continues their unbeaten run in Spanish La Liga. Barcelona beat Getafe 2-1 on Sunday in their second win of the league.

In the home stadium, Barcelona won with the excellent performance of Dutch player Memphis Depay. In the second minute of the game, Sergi Roberto scored from a Jordi Alba pass to give Barcelona an early lead.

But Getafe equalized in the 18th minute when Sandro Ramirez converted a Carles Alena pass. But in the 30th minute, Depay scored on a pass from Frenkie de Jong to give Barcelona a 2-1 lead. The result in the first half was decisive.

In another match on Sunday night, defending champions Atletico Madrid drew 2-2 with Villarreal. A suicide goal helped defeat Atletico in a competitive home game. All goals were possible in the second half.

Manu Trigueros scored the first goal for Villarreal in the 52nd minute. Luis Suarez scored in the 56th minute to give Atletico a 1-1 draw. Arnaut Danjuma scored in the 74th minute to give Villarreal the lead again.
