Nepal reports 1,388 new cases, 24 new deaths in past 24 hours
KATHMANDU: AUGUST 29 – Coronavirus has been confirmed in another 1,388 people in Nepal on Sunday.
Of the 7,259 PCR tests conducted across the country, 1,214 and 3,038 antigen tests confirmed corona infection in 174 people. At the same time, the number of coronavirus infections in Nepal has reached 842,193.
Another 24 people have died due to coronavirus. So far, 10,714 people have died in Nepal due to coronavirus, according to the Ministry of Health.
Similarly, an additional 2,260 people have been released from coronavirus, while 712,712 people have been released in Nepal so far.
At present, there are 35,796 active isolation and 343 quarantined infected people in Nepal.
So far, 38,94,137 PCRs and 461,499 antigens have been tested in Nepal, according to the ministry.
