NEPSE fell by 49 points, a turnover of Rs 15 billion

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 29 – On Sunday, the first day of the year, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has seen a sharp decline.

On this day, the index decreased by 49.18 points and was limited to 3045.20 points. Similarly, the Sensitive Index also declined by 8.57 points to 562.88 points.

A total of 2,48,88,313 shares of 227 companies have been bought and sold at a price of Rs 15.65 billion 12 lakh 44 thousand 5 hundred and five rupees on this day.

The share price of Narayani Development Bank and Khanikhola Hydro Power has risen the most by 10 per cent on this day.
