Rawal’s question: Who in Nepal raised the issue of Tuin with the BJP leader?
KATHMANDU: AUGUST 29 – CPN-UML Vice-Chairman Bhim Rawal has questioned the meeting of leaders including Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba with Bharatiya Janata Party’s foreign affairs chief Vijay Chauthaiwale.
In a tweet on Sunday, Vice President Rawal said that Nepali leaders had met BJP leader Chauthaiwale beyond the limits of diplomatic dignity and questioned whether the issue of killing of Jaisingh Dhami in Mahakali had been raised with Chauthaiwale.
He also said that the meeting was against diplomatic dignity. “Some Nepali leaders who have met BJP leader Chauthaiwale beyond the bounds of diplomatic dignity have raised the issue of taking action against the Indian security personnel who killed Jaisingh Dhami in the Mahakali massacre. What they have said is in the national interest.
During his stay in Nepal, Chauthaiwale had separate meetings with leaders and ministers including Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, UCPN (Maoist) Central Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, JSP Federal Council Chairman Baburam Bhattarai and Loktantrik Samajwadi Party Chairman Mahanta Thakur.
