Who are the office bearers of the parliamentary party in the Unified Socialist Party?

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 29 – A meeting is being held on Sunday (today) to select the office bearers of the parliamentary party of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Socialist). The meeting to be held at Singha Durbar will select the party’s parliamentary party leader, the chief whip, whip and others.

The meeting is certain to make party chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal the leader of the parliamentary party. Similarly, Jeevan Ram Shrestha is likely to be selected as the chief whip, the lawmakers said. Shrestha’s name is also on the list to become a minister, but as he is also the chairman of the Nepal Olympic Committee, there is a possibility that he will become the chief whip, the lawmakers said.

Similarly, Metmani Chaudhary is likely to be made the party’s whip. Chaudhary is also an MP on the list to become a minister. The lawmakers have informed that they are preparing to make a party whip and another minister if he is made a minister.

Similarly, leader Veduram Bhusal is almost certain to become the leader of the parliamentary party in the National Assembly. The Unified Socialists are also preparing to make Sarala Kumari Yadav the Deputy Speaker.
