The possibility of heavy rains in these areas, urged to remain vigilant

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 29 – Currently, there is a complete change from normal to complete across the country.

Currently, light to moderate rains falling in State 1, 2, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini States. According to the Weather Forecast Division, it is raining in Nepal due to the influence of monsoon winds.

In the afternoon, light to moderate rain is expected in most parts of the country. There is a huge possibility of thunder and lightning in a few places in States 1, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Far Western States.

There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in many places with normal to cloudy weather throughout the night.

There is a possibility of heavy rain including thunder and lightning in a few places of States 1, Bagmati, Karnali and the Far Western States.

Vigilance has been requested in the rainy areas as there is a risk of soil erosion, landslides, drift and rising water levels in rivers and streams.
