Nepal’s death toll rises to 10,690
KATHMANDU: AUGUST 28 – Another 1,857 people were confirmed to be infected with coronavirus in Nepal on Saturday.
According to the Ministry of Health, coronavirus was confirmed in 1,516 people during 9,409 PCR tests and 346 people in 3,767 antigen tests.
At the same time, the number of coronavirus infections in Nepal has reached 8 lakh 40 thousand 805.
Another 27 people have died due to coronavirus. So far, 10,690 people have lost their lives due to coronavirus, according to the ministry.
Similarly, 2,222 infected people have been cured and 710,452 infected have been released so far.
At present, there are 36,866 active infected people in isolation and 346 in quarantine in Nepal.
So far, 38 lakh 86 thousand 878 PCRs and 458 thousand 461 antigens have been tested in Nepal, according to the ministry.
