President appoints Prabhuram Sharma as Chief of Army Staff

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 28 – Prabhuram Sharma has been appointed as the Chief of Army Staff. President Bidhya Devi Bhandari has appointed acting Chief of Army Staff Sharma as the new Chief of Army Staff.

Pursuant to Article 267 (5) of the Constitution of Nepal, on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, Lieutenant General Prabhuram Sharma, who is currently holding the permanent responsibility of the Nepal Army, has been appointed as the Chief of Army Staff.
