Youth association member dies in accident

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 28 – Bijaya Bhatta, a member of the youth association, who was seriously injured after falling off a cliff, has died while undergoing treatment. Bhatta, 30, of Damarkholi in Dashrath Chand Municipality-5 died at the Maya Metro Hospital in Dhangadhi on Friday, said Police Inspector Darshan Khadka.

Bhatta had fallen off a cliff at Kaluwad on the way home from the district headquarters on Thursday evening. The injured Bhatta was referred to Dhangadhi early morning on Friday after he was could not be treated at the district hospital.

He died at the Maya Metro Hospital in Dhangadhi on Friday, police said. He is survived by his wife and a son.
