KATHMANDU: AUGUST 27 – Football star Cristiano Ronaldo is rumoured to be leaving Italian club Juventus. Even Juventus have made it public that they are ready to sell Ronaldo if they meet certain conditions, and there are speculations that the 36-year-old star may leave the club in a few days.

With one year left on his contract with Juventus, Ronaldo wants to leave the club this season and English club Manchester City are keen on taking him, according to international media.

Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes has claimed that Ronaldo is being talked about in prestigious European clubs including Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), but a final decision is yet to be made.

Manchester City are preparing to sign Ronaldo after failing to sign Harry Kane, according to English media. However, the city has not formally made any proposal. Ronaldo joined the Spanish club Real Madrid from Juventus for 99.2 million pounds two years ago.

Portuguese star Ronaldo was absent from Juventus’ first game and rumours were circulating that he might leave the club. With the talk of leaving Juventus, he did not even participate in Friday’s training, according to Goal.com.

It has been claimed that he did not stay in the club with his colleagues at the training site and asked for leave. Journalist Fabrizio Romano, who has been covering the European transfer market, has claimed that Ronaldo asked for leave from a friend.
