The highest ever application in Mega Mutual Fund 1

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 27 – The ‘Mega Mutual Fund-1’, which was opened by Mega Capital Limited from August 20 to 26, has received a high number of applications so far.

Capital had opened the sale of 100 million units worth Rs 1 billion at a face value of Rs 10 per unit.

Out of which 15 per cent or 15 million units were secured by the fund promoter Mega Bank and the remaining 85 million units were released to the public.

Till the last day, applications have been received from 1,63,646 applicants for the purchase of units worth Rs. 201,455,600. This is 2.37 times more applications than demanded.

As more units have been applied for than the demand, Mega has stated that the units will be distributed by adding 25 per cent of the total size of the fund as per the directive issued by the Securities and Exchange Board.
