Viral fever patients increasing
RAPTI: AUGUST 27 – Patients suffering from viral fever are increasing of late in the district.
The number of people suffering from the disease is found increasing at the Rapti State Hospital, Rapti Academy of Health Sciences, Lamahi Hospital, Tulsipur City Hospital.
Of total visitors, over 60 per cent are found suffering from common cold, typhoid and pneumonia.
Medical Superintendent of Rapti Provincial Hospital Dr Binod Singh shared that over 200 such patients are daily visiting the hospital with similar symptoms.
He added that such cases were reported to increase in this season in comparison to the past year.
Dr Singh further shared that most of the patients have come with complaints of fever, joint pain, common cold, chest pain and vomiting. Dr Singh has further urged all to adopt extra health precautions as such patients might be infected by other pandemics as well.
