House buried in a landslide, 3 gone missing

POKHARA: AUGUST 27 – A house has been buried in a landslide in Hupsekot of Nawalpur under Gandaki State due to incessant rains. The house of local Hasta Bahadur Pulami in the upper four houses of Hupsekot-4 has been completely damaged.

His wife and two grandchildren have gone missing due to the landslide. He was rescued and sent for treatment after four people including Pulami were buried in the landslide. His wife Dhanmaya Pulami, 40, and grandchildren Bhumisra Pulami, 7, and Deumaya Pulami, 6, have gone missing.

Police said that they were being rescued. The landslide has blocked the road at various places under the Dumre Besisahar road section.
