Joint replacement surgery will be done at a concessional rate from Saturday in Norvic

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 26 – A team led by senior Orthopaedic surgeon Dr Rishi Bista and Orthopaedics and trauma surgeon Dr Kuldeep Mangal Joshi will provide services under the free OPD campaign of Norvic International Hospital on Saturday.

Dr Bista, a senior Orthopaedic surgeon working at Norvic, and Dr Joshi, a trauma surgeon, will provide free OPD services.

Norvic has announced that knee and other joint-related surgeries will also start at a discounted rate from next Saturday.

Patients coming to the free OPD on Saturday can also register for joint replacement surgery, the hospital said.

Ajay Mishra, chief executive officer of Norvic International Hospital, said that the service of joint replacement surgery will be provided at a cheaper rate than the market.

Patients with Osteoarthritis and need surgery need free OPD as well as concessional surgery services, Norvic said.

For the past few years, Norvic has been offering free OPD services to one or another specialist every Saturday under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

In this order, on Saturday, Dr Bista and his team will provide free OPD services to patients at Norvic Hospital from 10 am to 12 pm.
