NEPSE increased by 17 points, but the transaction amount could not increase
KATHMANDU: AUGUST 26 – On Thursday, the last trading day of the week, the share market index (NEPSE has increased by 17.57 points.
By the end of the day, the NEPSE index had risen 0.57 per cent to 3,094.01 points. The Sensitive Index rose by 3.40 points to 571.39.
Of the 13 subgroups traded on the day, only five subgroups rose while the other eight declined.
Similarly, 21.69 million 585 shares of 232 companies were bought and sold worth Rs 13.42 billion 19 million 74 thousand 792 rupees.
Shares of Arun Upatyaka Hydropower Development Company Limited, Ankhu Khola Hydropower Company Limited, Corporate Development Bank Limited, Narayani Development Bank Limited, Shree Investment Finance Company Limited, Guheshwori Merchant Bank and Finance Company Limited, Ghalemdi Hydro Limited and Jeevan Bikas Microfinance Financial Institution Limited. Prices have risen by 10 per cent.
