Preparations to change the Chief of State 1

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 26 – The cabinet meeting is being held today. According to a source close to the Prime Minister, the meeting is likely to decide to remove the Chief of State 1, Somnath Pyasi.

Saying that the state chief could return, Bhim Acharya was hastily sworn in as the chief minister of State 1 on Thursday. Pyasi was appointed by the then Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

Although the government had earlier said that it was preparing to change the heads of all the states, only some of the heads of the states have changed.
