Acharya takes oath as Chief Minister

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 26 – Newly appointed Chief Minister of State 1 Bhim Acharya has taken an oath of office and secrecy.

Acharya was administered the oath of office by state chief Somnath Adhikari. Acharya was sworn in in a hurry.

After the federal government collapsed due to internal strife within the CPN-UML, which was still in the majority, the then UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal registered the CPN (Unified Socialist), which had an impact on the politics of the state.

As a result, Bhim Acharya, who has been on the side of Madhav Nepal for a long time, has been elected as the leader of the parliamentary party of State 1.

Acharya, who lost the party despite being strong in numbers, has now become the Chief Minister with the help of Rai.
