42 Nepalis waiting for flight in Kabul
KATHMANDU: AUGUST 26 – The government has said that the process of repatriation of Nepalis rescued from Afghanistan is underway and some Nepalis are waiting for their flight at Kabul airport.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 42 Nepalis, listed on the Consular Services Department’s web portal and waiting for rescue in groups at various locations in Kabul, were in the process of returning to Kabul airport but the arrival and landing of the Civil Aviation Ship has not been opened yet.
The ministry said in a statement on Wednesday evening that there was continuous coordination to bring Nepalis from Doha, Dubai, London and New Delhi rescued from Afghanistan to Kathmandu.
The ministry has urged all those who are still in Afghanistan and have not registered their names to register their names and details on the online portal on the website of the Consular Services Department.
