Identifying LOSAPA leaders

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 25 – The lawmakers of the proposed Democratic Socialist Party (LOSAPA) who reached the Election Commission are being identified.

As soon as the new party chairman Mahanta Thakur, senior leader Rajendra Mahato and other lawmakers reached the commission, the process of identification started.

It is said that 31 central and 14 parliamentarians will be identified in favour of the Democratic Socialist Party. Leaders of the proposed CPN-Unified Socialists have also reached the Election Commission for identification.

Both the parties were summoned by the Election Commission for identification between 11:30 am and 2:00 am this morning.
