Gaurika tested positive with COVID-19 despite being double vaccinated

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 25 – Olympian Gaurika Singh has tested positive with COVID -19. Gaurika, a swimmer, wrote on social media that she had contracted coronavirus.

Gaurika has been in isolation for 10 days after being tested positive. “I was vaccinated with both doses and had no symptoms. However, I have also recently been diagnosed with coronavirus. I am currently in isolation for 10 days as per government norms, ”she said.

Gaurika set a national record in the women’s 100m freestyle at the Tokyo Olympics in the long course.
