KATHMANDU: AUGUST 24 – Due to the monsoon, the weather will take a few more days to improve. Monsoon activity is still active due to water vapour from the Bay of Bengal.

“Looking at the current situation, the weather is not expected to improve. The monsoon is likely to be more active from Wednesday, ”said Barun Poudel, senior meteorologist at the Department of Water and Meteorology.

It is likely to be cloudy in most parts of the country till Friday with light to moderate rain and heavy rain in some places. During that period, it will rain more at night and in the morning than during the day.

According to the department, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in some places of State 1, Gandaki, Karnali and the Far Western States as well as a few places in other States.

According to the latest details of the Weather Forecast Division, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley is 20.6 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 24.5 degrees Celsius.

Similarly, the minimum temperature of Jumla was 16.5 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature of Dhangadhi was 33.7 degrees Celsius.
