This is the manifesto of the CPN (Unified Socialist)
KATHMANDU: AUGUST 24 – The manifesto of the proposed Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Socialist) has been made public. Leaders of the party, which has been issued in Chandragiri since Monday, have been given various statements and manifestos.
In the manifesto, it is stated that the objective set by the Communist Party of Nepal during its establishment is the goal of the Unified Socialist Party. The declaration also states that the Supreme Court has broken the unity of the UML and the UCPN (Maoist) by entering the area which was not demanded in the dispute over the name of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN).
It has been mentioned that KP Oli has pushed the party towards division by deciding to amend the constitution and dismiss the office bearers elected from the general convention. KP Sharma Oli, who was elected as the president, was not sincere towards the general convention. As he acted on his own without following the decisions of the General Convention, serious differences were arising in the party. Meanwhile, KP Oli never followed the party’s policies and rules even when he was the chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN), which was formed by uniting the then CPN (UML) and the CPN (Maoist Center).

He is also the Prime Minister of the country and did not run the government according to the party policy. As a result, serious differences and disputes arose within the party. The controversy escalated after he recommended the dissolution of the House of Representatives in an unconstitutional manner on 20 December 2020, and the then Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) was politically divided into two factions.
Leaders of the party, including Madhav Kumar Nepal, had reached Chandragiri Resort on Monday to prepare party documents. Leader and MP Bhawani Prasad Khapung informed that more than 60 central members of the party are currently in Chandragiri. According to him, discussions are underway to finalize the new party’s manifesto, interim constitution 2078, political proposal and party rules.
He said that after studying the manifesto, it is ready to be passed by this evening. The Election Commission (EC) on Wednesday summoned the leaders of the CPN (Unified Socialists) for identification.
