This will be the new jersey of the Nepali cricket team
KATHMANDU: AUGUST 23 – The new jersey of the Nepali national cricket team has been made public. According to the Nepal Cricket Association (CAN), the jersey designed by Aadarsh Pokhrel has been selected as the new jersey of the Nepali cricket team out of nearly 500 designs received from the open application.
Shulabh Budhathoki of New Jersey sponsor ‘My Second Teacher’ and Roshan Kumar Singh, treasurer of CAN have made it public. Adpad, which was tasked with finding a sponsor for the jersey, asked for open Jersey designs from supporters.
Pokhrel, the designer of the jersey, also received a prize of one lakh rupees, according to CAN. The new design will be worn by the Nepali team going to Oman on Tuesday.
A four-member committee comprising Jersey CAN board member Chhumbi Lama, general manager Raunak Malla, cricket manager Binod Das and My Second Teacher Aashish Sigdel has been selected.
