Volunteer mobilization to make KMC’s emergency service comfortable and standard

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 23 – Kathmandu Medical College at Sinamangal in Kathmandu has improved the emergency room service for the service and convenience of the patients.

KMC has further improved the emergency room service to make it faster, faster and more effective. A 24-hour ‘Emergency Volunteer’ team has been mobilized in the emergency room to facilitate the patients.

KMC General Manager Narayan Dahal informed that volunteers have been deployed 24 hours in trolleys, wheelchairs and stretchers in front of the hospital gate to take the emergency patients to the emergency room.

Dahal said that they would take the patient out of the ambulance as soon as they arrived and take them to the emergency room for treatment as soon as possible.

After Dr. Sunil Sharma, Chairman of KMC, showed interest in making the emergency service effective, the service of the emergency room has been further improved and made fast, quick and quality, the hospital said. Patients and relatives of the patients have said that they have become comfortable in the treatment after KMC improved the emergency services.

Similarly, an inquiry room has also been set up at KMC. The KMC has stated that an inquiry room has been set up to provide information on treatment and other work related to the hospital.

With the entry of Dr Sharma, KMC has been accelerating the standardization of treatment and expansion of services.
