Nepal’s COVID-19 tally rises to 10,509
KATHMANDU: AUGUST 22 – An additional 1,920 people have been confirmed to have coronavirus in Nepal on Sunday.
According to the Ministry of Health, the coronavirus has been confirmed in 218 people out of 1,702 and 3,073 antigen tests conducted during 9,443 PCR tests conducted across the country. Along with this, the number of coronavirus infections in Nepal has reached 827,642.
Another 24 more deaths were reported, bringing the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 10,509. A total of 2,248 people have been successfully cured and discharged from hospitals so far. Similarly, 698,173 people have been recovered from coronavirus in Nepal so far.
Currently, 38,751 people are in isolation and 421 are in quarantine.
So far, 3,830,691 PCRs and 432,555 antigens have been tested in Nepal, according to the ministry.
