Kamal Thapa separated from the coordinator of the local level election mobilization committee

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 21 -Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chairman Kamal Thapa has resigned from the post of coordinator of the local level election mobilization committee. He announced on social media that he has separated from the post of coordinator of the local level election mobilization committee formed by the party.

He has requested one of the chairpersons Pashupati Shamsher Rana and Dr Prakash Chandra Lohani to take the responsibility or other senior leaders to be the coordinators. He did not give a reason for his separation.

Rastriya Prajatantra Party had formed a local level election mobilization committee under the leadership of Chairman Thapa only on July 23. Leaders Dhan Bahadur Budha, Bharat Jung Upreti, Rabindra Pratap Shah and Rajesh Giri are members of the committee while Gita Bhakta Joshi is the member secretary. Similarly, the chairperson and vice-chairpersons of the seven state committees are also ex-officio members of the committee.
