Protest at Maiti Ghar demanding release of Resham Chaudhary and others [Photos]

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 19 – The Tharuhat Tharuwan Rastriya Morcha has been staging a sit-in at Maitighar for the past three days demanding the release of all political prisoners of the Tikapur Rebellion, including MP Resham Chaudhary, who is lodged in Dilli Bazar Jail in Kathmandu.

The Morcha has been protesting since August 17 on the occasion of the 6th anniversary of the Tharuhat / Tharuwan Uprising.

Campaigners including Khagendra Sitaula and Narayan Wagle are present in the demonstration.
