Another Nepali dies at Gauriphanta checkpoint

DHANGADHI: AUGUST 19 – Another Nepali died at the Gauriphanta checkpoint on the Kailali-Kanchanpur border on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as Ram Din Rana, 55, of Bedkot Municipality-2, Rauteli Bichuwa, Kanchanpur.

Constable Parmananda Joshi of the Police Post in Kanchanpur informed that he died after falling unconscious while talking to his relatives. “I met my sister-in-law, who was going to Bangaun, at Checkpoint,” he said.

Police Constable Joshi said that the doctor declared him dead after he was rushed to Seti State Hospital. He said that his body was kept at the hospital and his relatives were informed about the incident.

A person from Krishnapur Municipality of Kanchanpur who had come from India had died at Gauriphanta Checkpoint two days ago.
