Reorganization of the Council of Ministers after the identification of the UML (Socialist)

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 19 – The Council of Ministers will be reconstituted as soon as the Madhav Kumar Nepal-led CPN-UML (Socialist) is identified in the Election Commission.

The agreement was reached between Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, UCPN (Maoist) Central Committee Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and senior UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal, who had filed an application with the Election Commission for registration of a new party.

“We will finalize the cabinet as soon as Madhav Nepal’s party is identified in the Election Commission,” said Prachanda.
