Four go missing when landslip buries house in Rasuwa

RASUWA: AUGUST 19 – Four persons have gone missing when a landslide caused by heavy rainfall buried a house at Koldanda at Naukunda Rural Municipality-5 in Rasuwa district on Wednesday night, said the police.

Shyam Bahadur Galan, the owner of the damaged house, was injured in the disaster. He was sent to Trishuli Hospital, said Chief District Officer Ishwori Prasad Dhakal. Teams of Nepal Police, Nepali Army and Armed Police Force have been sent to the incident site for rescue operations, he said.

The incident site is around 50 kilometres south of the district headquarters, Dhunche.
