‘UML Socialist’ will not get the open book election symbol

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 18 – Some leaders have approached the Election Commission saying that the UML Socialist Party, which has applied for the registration of a new party, will not get the open book election symbol. Bodhraj Neupane, a central member of the party, said that the Advanced Democratic Party, which was registered shortly before the lockdown, had put up an open book election symbol.

He said that even though they had already applied for the party and election symbol, they were yet to get the party registration certificate. Neupane also informed that the coordinator of the Advanced Democratic Party is Swagat Nepal.
