KATHMANDU: AUGUST 18 – Nepali Congress leader Gagan Thapa has also opposed the ordinance to ease the division of political parties led by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba. Leader Thapa opposed on social network Twitter.

Thapa is of the view that it is wrong to bring an ordinance by circumventing the parliament session. “Yesterday was wrong, today is wrong, always wrong, whoever did it was wrong, yesterday when Oli brought it wrong, no one has the right to support it today” Thapa said. ‘If you support it, you should apologize publicly for protesting at that time.’

After Deuba brought the ordinance, young leaders within the Congress have protested against it. Earlier, Congress leaders Shekhar Koirala, Pradip Poudel and others had opposed it.
